This is a special sign-up promotion for new residential customers where they are eligible for free voice and broadband rental depending on the contract plan they are subscribed to.

Who is eligible for this promotion?

This promotion is eligible for all new Residential customer sign-ups or Voice-only customers who wish to subscribe to TelBru’s Broadband services.
Existing TelBru Residential customers (subscribe to both voice and broadband) is also eligible for this promotion. These are applicable to customers who have signed up with TelBru before 1st August 2018.


When will I get the free 2 months or 5 months free rental?

The free rentals will be awarded as per the fixed awarding schedule:

If I have subscribed to TelBru’s combo services (voice and broadband) on 01 August 2018, am I still eligible to renew my contract for this promotion?

No, you will not be eligible as you have signed up with TelBru after 01 August 2018.
Only for customers who have subscribed with TelBru before 01 August 2018 will be eligible.


I have subscribed to TelBru’s combo services before 01 August 2018. How do I renew my contract?

You may renew your contract one of two ways, either:
i. You may visit any of your nearest TelBru Branch to renew, OR
ii. You may call our Customer Care 111 and tell them that you are interested to renew you contract with TelBru


I have just renewed my contract. Am I automatically enrolled for the TelBru Grand Draw as well?

Unfortunately, if you have only renewed your contract, you are not eligible for the TelBru Grand Draw.
You will need to upgrade your plan (minimum of $59.00 plan and above) in order for you to enter the Grand Draw (if you have not done so already).


How do I know when is the first month?

The month upon which your service has been activated will be counted as the first month, regardless of the date.
For example, if your service is active as of 23rd March 2019, the month of March is considered as the first month.

Are the awarding of the free rentals’ months fixed?

Yes, the schedule for the free rentals are fixed.


My service was temporary suspended. Am I still eligible for the free rental?

Scenario 1:
If you have been temporary suspended and do not reactive your service status with minimum 2 months full payment (voice and broadband rental), you will not be eligible for the coming free rental.
Scenario 2:
If you have been temporary suspended but you have managed to reactive your service status with minimum 2 months full payment (voice and broadband rental), you will still be eligible for the coming free rental.


I missed one of my free rentals as my service status was temporary suspended. Do I get awarded again for that missed free rental another time?

Unfortunately, no. If your service status is temporary suspended for any reason during the awarding period, the free rental for that round will be void and not awarded again. However, if your service is reactivated with a minimum of 2 months full payment (voice and broadband rental), you will be eligible for the next free rental, if applicable.


If my service status has stated that it is permanently suspended, am I still eligible for the free rentals?

If your service status falls under the permanently suspended status at any time, your eligibility for the free rental will be void entirely, even if you reactivate your service at a later time.


Am I still eligible for the free rental when I upgrade the broadband plan?

Yes, however, you must (i) stay on the upgraded plan for a minimum period of 2 months and (ii) have at least 2 months full payment (voice and broadband rental) on the upgraded plan.
If you upgrade too close a period to the awarding month, you will not be eligible for the free rental as scheduled due to not fulfilling the above criteria.


Am I still eligible for the free rental when I downgrade the broadband plan?

No. Should you downgrade from your initial broadband plan, you will no longer be eligible to receive the free rental.
In the event that you have been awarded previously for any free rentals, you are required to pay the amount waived along with the downgrade fee.
Your contract will then be shifted back onto the normal plan which is tied with the General and Broadband T&C (click here)


Can I change my contract plan period at any one time?

No changes are allowed to the contract plan period at any time once subscribed.


I wish to change ownership to another person. Can the free rental be transferred to the new owner’s name?

No, the free rentals are non-transferrable. Should you wish to change ownership any time during the active contract period, your eligibility for the free rental will be voided.


I wish to relocate my service to another location. Will the eligibility for the free rental still be valid?

Yes, so as long as your service status does not fall under the temporarily suspended or permanently suspended status, you are eligible to receive the free rental.


I have subscribed to your 1-Year or 2-Year Contract Plan. However, I have decided to terminate earlier than my subscription period. Can I do so?

You may terminate your contract. However, as you have voided your contract, you will be bound to the Broadband Terms and Conditions Clause 6.2.2. (click here) and any free rentals previously awarded will be charged back accordingly.


1. Applicable to TelBru Residential customers only.
2. This promotion is valid from 9th March 2019 – 31st March 2019, both dates inclusive (herein referred to as ‘Promotion Period’).
3. This promotion offers free voice and broadband rental to either (A) Newly signed-up Residential customers, (B) Existing Voice-only customers who subscribe to TelBru’s Broadband services or (C) Existing TelBru Residential customers on voice and broadband (combo) services who wish to renew their contract. The free rental is dependent on the contract plan chosen as per below:
i. If customers subscribe to the 1-Year Contract Plan, they will be eligible for 2 months free voice and broadband rental.
ii. If customers subscribe to the 2-Year Contract Plan, they will be eligible for 5 months free voice and broadband rental.
4. Referring to Clause 3, the free rentals will be awarded once the customer’s service is active and the awarding period will be based on a fixed month schedule as below:

4th, 8th, 13th, 18th and 23rd month after service active
If service is active in May 2019, the free rental will be awarded in:
• August 2019 (Bill received in Sept 2019)
• December 2019 (Bill received in January 2020)
• May 2020 (Bill received in June 2020)
• October 2020 (Bill received in November 2020)
• March 2021 (Bill received in April 2021)

5. Renewal of contract plans is eligible for existing TelBru Residential customers on combo service (voice and broadband) who have been subscribed with TelBru before 01 August 2018.
i. Existing TelBru Residential customers on combo services who subscribed with TelBru on 01 August 2018 onwards are not eligible for the contract renewal on this promotion.
6. TelBru Voice-only customers are not eligible for this promotion.
7. In the event that the customer wishes to upgrade their plan, they may do so however they will require to be on the plan for a minimum period of 2 months with full payment in order for the next free rental in line to reflect the newly upgraded plan.
8. Customers who have subscribed to this promotion will not be eligible to (i) any other Upgrade Promotion or (ii) any other Sign-Up tied-in promotions until the end of the contract period, unless otherwise stated.
9. Customers who sign-up for this promotion are still entitled to be eligible for the TelBru Grand Draw except for:
i. New subscriptions of below $59.00 (broadband plans that are below $59.00)
ii. Contract renewals for current subscribers that maintain their current subscription below $59.00 (broadband plans that are below $59.00).
10. Customers who have subscribed to the Zero Sign-Up Promotion in January 2019 will not be eligible for this promotion.
11. In the event that the newly subscribed customer chooses to downgrade at any time within their active contract period, they will no longer be eligible for the promotional offer and will be charged back the free rental amount awarded (if any) along with the downgrade fee.
12. In the event that a customer’s service status is temporary suspended during the awarding period, they will not be eligible for the free rental. However, should the customer reactivate their service with minimum 2 months full payment (voice and broadband rental), the customer will then still be eligible for the free rental (if any). Should the customer miss any of the scheduled free rental due to the above reason, they will not be re-awarded and that particular free rental will be revoked, unless otherwise agreed by TelBru.
13. In the event that a customer’s service status becomes permanently suspended, they will be voided of the contract and will no longer be eligible for any free rental. The customer will be charged back any free rental previously awarded and be tied to the General and Broadband Terms and Conditions.
14. Once a contract plan has been chosen, the customer is not allowed to change their contract plan period at any time during their active contract period.
15. Any termination of the contract period (1-year and 2-year contract plan) during the customer’s active subscription period will be liable to all charges following the Broadband Terms and Conditions Clause 6.2.2 along with any awarded rental previously.
16. TelBru’s Staff and Business customers are not eligible for this promotion.
17. TelBru reserves the right to deem the offer void if the Customer does not comply with the terms and conditions specified for this promotion including the TelBru’s General Terms and Conditions for Services as well as such other specific terms and conditions as may be agreed and accepted by the Customer. Such rights conferred by TelBru under these terms and conditions shall be additional to the rights conferred by TelBru under the TelBru’s General Terms and Conditions for services and any other terms and conditions agreed and accepted by the Customer.
18. All details and particulars registered by the Customer must be true, accurate and complete.
19. TelBru shall not be liable for any delay, failure or omission in carrying out this promotion.
20. TelBru shall not be liable for any claims, losses and damages sustained by the Customer.
21. TelBru reserves the right at any time in its absolute, sole discretion, notwithstanding anything in these terms and conditions to cancel or make amendment(s) to this offer.
22. TelBru reserves the right to alter these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
23. Customers in this promotion shall accept the terms and conditions and the alteration thereof.
24. All decisions are at the discretion of TelBru and shall be deemed to be final.
25. The customer’s continued use of TelBru’s services will constitute as acceptance to these Terms and Conditions and any other alterations made thereafter.
