TelBru’s stakeholders including corporate and government clients, vendors and business partners were feted at the Empire Hotel and Country Club yesterday, to a Hari Raya Open House event held annually in a showcase of appreciation for the support the company has received over the years.

Aligned with the spirit of Hari Raya towards strengthening bonds and forging closer relations, this year’s gathering also pays homage to Brunei’s cultural heritage with an array of local delicacies and live Gulingtangan traditional music presented by talented young locals.

The event, headed by TelBru’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. David Kay, anticipated the attendance of over 1,500 guests from various industries that have, in more ways than one, been instrumental in TelBru’s transformative journey that aims to improve the country’s connection with the rest of the world.

Among the company’s list of invited guests include its Board of Directors headed by Minister of Finance II, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, alongside senior government officials as well as foreign envoys to the country.

The twilight week of Syawal continues to resonate here at Telekom Brunei Berhad with all 10 branches throughout the country taking full advantage of the last day of Hari Raya as the company played host to its walk-in customers.

As the company bid farewell to the month-long religious and customary celebration TelBru’s branches catered to patrons seeking the services provided by the country’s premier communication’s company where facilities such as bill payment and subscription enquiries ran in tandem with an all-day feast befitting the joyous occasion.

With the main event held at TelBru’s Citis Square branch, members of TelBru’s senior management took the personal opportunity to extend their greetings to those that sought counter services as a symbolic gesture of the company’s appreciation for the public’s continuous support in TelBru’s hopes towards making a difference in Brunei’s technological growth.
